Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles announces the brand’s latest advertising campaign as part of the world premiere of the new Transporter. In an ideal symbiosis of model and personality, Hollywood star Jason Statham, known from the cult film franchise ‘The Transporter’, takes the leading role.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWN) has picked the ideal candidate to communicate its latest model: none lesser than Jason Statham, who made a name for himself in the film franchise ‘The Transporter’, is the face of the new Transporter campaign. Statham, the charismatic and action-packed ‘Transporter’, is without doubt the ideal cast to personify the versatility and performance of VWN’s new commercial vehicle.

The first video trailer was officially aired on Sunday evening at the new van’s world premiere at the IAA 2024 in Hanover: ‘We are thrilled to have Jason Statham as the face of our new campaign,’ says Sandra Waidelich, Head of Sales & Marketing Experience at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. ‘His energy and charismatic style are a perfect fit for our new Transporter, which is also known for its durability, reliability and innovative technology.
