Buckle up, folks, because the INEOS Grenadier and Quartermaster are roaring back to life in early January 2025 after a troublesome ride through a critical supply shortage.

“It’s great news that a solution has been found so quickly,” says Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive. “Automotive supply chains are extremely complex but we were not willing to compromise on quality, so we are satisfied that we have found the best possible outcome.”

As of now, these rugged vehicles are marching into markets in 50 countries, most recently Mexico and China.

After a forced pause in September 2024—thanks to a crippling shortage of components—the production engines are firing up once again, and both the Grenadier and the Quartermaster will be set to roll off the line by the dawn of the new year.

All partners are primed and ready, and look forward to resuscitating operations at INEOS Automotive’s cutting-edge plant in Hambach.

After a blistering start, INEOS Automotive had sold as many Grenadiers by summer as they did for the entire year of 2023, and they’re roaring towards 20,000 on the road by year’s end. With eyes set on pressing the Go button at their operations in Hambach come January, and eye-catching expansions in markets like China, Mexico, and a hefty push into the U.S., Calder’s optimism is unmistakable: “I believe 2025 is going to be our best year yet.”

And a nod to their loyal patrons is in order: “I’d like to give a huge thanks to our customers for their patience. We are happy to get back on track and look forward to handing them the keys to their Grenadiers asap.”
