EZA DEM200 Jump Starter

EZA DEM200 EN

Pocket sized portable power.

At some stage or another, it happens to most of us: turning the ignition key is not rewarded with the roaring or humming sound of the engine, but with an unspectacular and disheartening click – the unmistakable sign of a discharged battery. If you’re in near home, an urban settlement or with friends, not a problem. But if you’re in the backcountry on your own, you’ll be happy to have a backup with you.

I’ve recently traded my old 12.5 kg emergency battery pack against a 425 g EZA DEM200 12 V powerbank/jump starter. With the reserve capacity of 12,000 mAh/44.4 Wh and 200 A (peak 400 A), this pocket sized booster will start engines up to 4,500 cc.

In addition to the reassurance I can start my own car, or help someone else in need, the DEM200 is even more versatile thanks to two 5.1 V/2.1 A USB ports for recharging telephones, tablets and other electronic devices, and an integrated torch/strobe.

Four green LEDs provide information regarding the internal battery status and recharging is simple using the supplied USB cable.

To ensure everything is kept organised, the EZA DEM200 and cables all pack into the supplied robust pouch.
