INEOS Quartermaster Kaiju — Following the Call of the Wild

Sprache wechseln German

In the land down under, where the wild stretches between sand and surf, a mechanical behemoth has been unleashed. INEOS Automotive, has conjured up something truly monstrous: the Quartermaster Kaiju. It’s not just an off-roader, it’s a declaration of war on mediocrity.

So, what have they dreamt up now? Well, they’ve taken a Grenadier Quartermaster which, straight out of the box, is engineered to deliver a class-leading combination of off-road capability and load-carrying versatility for work and adventure. Then, they transformed it into a blacked-out, snarling beast ready to tackle whatever the outback can throw at it.

Looking purposeful

They’ve named it “Kaiju,” a nod to mythical titanic creatures of Japanese lore and a wink at Australia’s enthusiastic approach to epic 4x4s.

EQUIPPED FOR ADVENTURE

This singular creation is the product of partnerships with Australia’s titans of customisation—think Norweld, Rhino-Rack, Brown Davis, REDARC, JMACX, GME, BFGoodrich, MAXTRAX, and STEDI. The result? A high-performance symphony of accessories that redefine off-road capability and push the boundaries of what’s possible when adventure meets engineering.

The Kaiju’s exterior is a masterclass in stark elegance, featuring a Norweld Elite Tray and Compact Deluxe Lite Canopy designed to combat dust and water with sophisticated gutter systems and rubber seals.

Space for everything you need

Discreetly tucked behind the rear bumper is a Brown Davis long-range fuel tank, offering 168 litres of freedom (in addition to the stock 90-litre tank) to roam further.

Electricity-wise, REDARC steps in with a state-of-the-art setup comprising RS3 Pure Sine Wave inverters, a robust Alpha150 150A lithium battery, and Alpha50 manager. The Kaiju is as energy-independent as it is fierce.

Justin Hocevar, Regional Director, APAC at INEOS Automotive, paints this monster truck not as a mere vehicle, but as a canvas for creative expression: “We wanted to create a truly unique Quartermaster together with some incredibly innovative local engineering & accessory partners. The Quartermaster Cab Chassis is a ‘blank canvas’ that allows for great versatility when it comes to customisation, so together with these project partners, we let our imagination run wild. Ultimately, the ‘Kaiju Quartermaster’ expresses our Australian vision of Built For More.”

Interestingly, INEOS is breaking away from the pack by extending warranties to select aftermarket components when official partners are involved—comforting news for those who like their adventures with a good dose of peace of mind thrown in.

Expect to see the Kaiju looming large at events across the Australian landscape in the coming months.
