Natural Foods: cashew snacks for home and on the go

Sprache wechseln German

Natfoods GmbH is exhibiting at Abenteuer & Allrad 2023. Booth C13

Nuts are a popular snack when travelling. After all, they’re highly portable, don’t make a mess and are a good source of energy. Now, even though the cashew is often considered a nut, it isn’t – it’s a seed.

Compared to nuts, though, the cashew has a lot to offer. In fact these little powerhouses posess more copper, iron, phosphorous, selenium, vitamin K and zinc than any nut. Once consumed, their main role is to enhance red blood cell production which improves the delivery of oxygen throughout the body.

If you’ve been physically active, the cashew can help speed up recovery whilst reducing the risk of muscle spasms and cramps.

Stephan Böhner, ceo of Natfoods GmbH, in Bad Kissingen, has built his company almost solely on the merits and diversity of the cashew. Besides the Premium range of cashew seeds, flour, oil and mousse, Stephan produces an exciting range of flavoured “Happy Nuts” variants including:

  • Vanilla salt
  • Honey sea salt
  • Honey Lemon
  • Honey ginger mint
  • Dry roasted chili
  • Honey rosemary
  • Honey BBQ

Natfoods imports raw produce sourced directly from the countries and plantations which meet their standards in terms of sustainability, ecology and fair trade. At the same time, a transparent price policy benefits working conditions, fair payment and compliance with local standards in regard to medical care.

Once the seeds reach Germany, the environmentally conscious company processes them locally and portions them without using aluminium or plastics.
