Falken Tyre Europe GmbH will expand its 4×4 tyre portfolio in 2024 with the brand new FALKEN R/T01 for the most rugged terrain. This addition to the range gives Falken the advantage insofar as it has the right product for every off-road application. When developing the R/T01, the engineers researched the the most challenging scenarios and developed a new tread design and structure for unparalleled performance.
SIZES
Initially, Falken will launch nine dimensions spanning diametres from 16 to 20 inch in the 75, 70, 65, 60 and 55 series. The tyres is developed for speeds up to 160 km/h (classification Q).
Designated as a “Professional Off-Road” (POR) tyre, the WILDPEAK R/T01 does not have any other EU tyre label.
FEATURES
Combining features of from the WILDPEAK A/T (All Terrain) and M/T (Mud Terrain) versions, the R/T further optimises traction, reliability and durability for four-wheel drive vehicles in extreme applications.
The new tread is full of exciting, confidence-inspiring details that not only make it ideal for tackling the toughest terrains, but also for low wear and tear and tremendous durability. The hybrid off-road tread pattern is similar to that of the WILDPEAK A/T, with a large contact area and stiff tread blocks for maximum longevity without compromising on-road performance and off-road durability.
The robust three-ply flank protects against lacerations and enhances traction in technical terrain.
CAPABILITIES
In terms of M/T capabilities, the WILDPEAK R/T01 excels not only on muddy surfaces thanks to its open shoulder tread design, but is also well equipped against rocks. The excellent self-cleaning properties of the tread ensure reliable stone ejection and the best grip and confident progress in challenging situations.
Key focus markets include the construction industry, forestry, farming, overlanding and all off-road enthusiasts.

Both Mercedes-Benz and RAM use Falken WILDPEAK tyres as original equipment. In addition to masterful off-road performance and exceptional on-road driving characteristics, the 245/75 R 16 WILDPEAK M/T put in an exceptional performance during the 2022 Classic Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia, completing the 7500 kilometre route completely puncture-free.
AVAILABILITY
The new WILDPEAK R/T01 will be available from the first quarter of 2024.
